Let the two coasts guide you
The Baja California peninsula, the Gulf of California, the Gulf coast, and the Yucatán Peninsula provide a strong outer frame. Once the coastal sequence is secure, the dense central states become easier to place.
Break up the center
- Learn northern border states from west to east.
- Treat the Mexico City area as a zoomed-in cluster.
- Compare similarly named states, especially when one surrounds or borders another.
