Australia’s six states and two major mainland territories make an eight-answer missing map. The set is small, but every blank is prominent: name the faded divisions to rebuild the country.

Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria form a clear mainland arrangement. Tasmania sits apart, while the Australian Capital Territory is the compact detail that demands the closest attention.

Because there are only eight targets, removing all of them is a reasonable starting challenge rather than an expert-only mode. The boundary grid remains visible, giving you enough structure to reconstruct the names from west to east.
A reliable recall order
- Build the central column from Northern Territory to South Australia.
- Finish the east coast from Queensland down to Victoria.
- Check the ACT and Tasmania before submitting the final names.
