Can you spot what Europe has lost?

A handful of Europe’s 46 countries are removed from the land color in every round. The outlines remain in place, turning familiar borders into clues. Type all missing country names to complete the European map.

Density is the real difficulty

Europe contains many compact countries packed around Central Europe, the Balkans, and the Baltic Sea. A tiny blank can be harder than a large one because several neighbors share similar proportions. Zooming helps, but regional order is the stronger memory tool.

Solve outward from recognizable shapes

  • Anchor the west with the Iberian Peninsula, France, and the British Isles.
  • Use Italy and Scandinavia as unmistakable north-south shapes.
  • Review the Balkans, Baltics, and Alpine states as tight clusters.

Make every replay different

Since the omitted countries are randomized, one round may emphasize the Mediterranean and another Eastern Europe. Short rounds suit quick review; removing every country creates a demanding blank-border challenge.
